    Thank you for your interest in St. Clare School. The following lists the application process steps.


    The Admissions Process


    Step 1. Visit Our School

    St. Clare School hosts Tours. Prospective families are welcome to join us for a school tour and conversation about curriculum, data, and our Silver Box philosophy. E-mail crizzo@dsj.org


    Step 2. Apply to St. Clare 

    Transitional Kindergarten: Student must be FOUR years old.

    Kindergarten: Student must be FIVE years old.

    Step 3. Submit Required Documents to the school office

    The original documents are required within three days of submitting the online application. 

    o   Official Birth Certificate

    o   Passport or Proof of Residency (students born outside the U.S.)

    o   Baptism Certificate (if child is Catholic)

    o   Immunization Card

    o   First Eucharist Certificate (applying for grades 3-8)

    o   Copy of most recent report card or progress report (applying grades 1-8)

    o   A $60 non-refundable application fee for each applicant

    o   Small student photo


    Step 4. Application Screening

    All prospective students are screened for academic and social readiness. Our screening process is designed to ensure that your child is ready to succeed at St. Clare School. There are sessions scheduled for screening all our applicants.


    Step 5. Admissions Acceptance

    After the results of the screening assessment are evaluated, you will receive a letter from the school informing you know if your child has been accepted.

    Based on the number of applicants and on available seats, some applicants may receive wait list letters.

    The school office can fully explain the screening process and answer any questions you might have.



    Follow the instructions in your Acceptance Letter and submit your non-refundable Registration Fee.


    New Family Orientation

    Attend this informative evening meeting on Thursday, May 10, 2018. At this time, you will receive your child's Registration Packet.
