• Parent Service Hours

We are blessed to have so many volunteer opportunities on our campus. While family service hours are required (30 hours per family and 15 for single parent families) we know that many of our families donate much more than this requirement. Because of this dedication and support our school is able to provide our students with fun and enriching experiences that build and strengthen our community.

    Service Expectations

    All families are expected to:

    • serve in some way that supports St. Clare School for a total of thirty hours (30) per family and fifteen (15) hours for a single-parent family
    • serve two-three hour shifts per student, up to a maximum of three shifts per family at the St. Clare Festival held in May
    • have at least one parent registered in ServingStClare.
    • log their service hours into ServingStClare within thirty days of service to ensure accurate record-keeping

Almost any effort performed by families on behalf of St. Clare School qualifies as service. Common examples include supervising students at lunch time (yard duty), driving on field trips, helping in the classroom, serving on a school committee, planning a school function or event or assisting a classroom teacher or office staff with a project from your home. More information about serving at St. Clare School may be found in the Parent/Student Handbook.

    Serving St. Clare

Thank you for your interest in serving at St. Clare School. The PTG manages a database called ServingStClare to organize all of the service opportunities at St. Clare School and also to allow you to record your service hours.
